be Plastic Artist for Passion to the Art!
He was born in Alcântara, Lisbon, Portugal, in 1954.
Being an Economist he has always worked in the Finance and Estate areas. He is a
self-taught man in both plastic and visual art.
He was a journalist and wrote for different newspapers: A Capital, Luta Popular,
Jornal do Oeste and Sempre Pronto.
He is a poet and also a photographer.

In 1970 he started to paint watercolors which he used to sell on the streets in
Nazaré, Lagos and Albufeira. Hitchhiking he got rides to those places whose
landscapes he painted.
In 1993 he started to paint oils and acrylics. He usually offered those
paintings.
In 2005 he painted watercolors, pastels, acrylics and oils and with the help of
enthusiastic friends, who commissioned some works, he got strength, maturity and
will to express the ideas in his mind and soul. Never let the memory fade and
carry on, that is his motto: love for art is everything!
Nowadays he tries to be in friendly terms with life, color, emotion, surrounded
by the tenderness of those who cherish him. His works reflect his message and
his knowledge, they share experiences and emotion.
He was recently started tile painting. He is also a sculptor.
In Art there is no hurry...just creativity and the way one looks at life and the
World.
