Ricardo Passos was born in 1963. From an early age he fell in love with Art. He finished high school in Decorative Arts, graduated in Marketing and Publicity (IADE), and also got a degree at Painting on National Society of “Belas Artes”.
During 13 years he participated to our traditional festivities in Lisbon “Marchas Populares”, and won several times the first prize of Arts.
His enormous interest for Popular Traditions, originality and talent made him create popular figures of ceramics, inspirations for two books; “Lisbon - Tales and Memories” published in 2001 and “ Loures – Home of generous people” published in 2005.
His main professional activity is based on Graphic Design and painting, allowing the diary notion of conception and formal balance, improving the expressivity and the artistic sensibility.
He belongs to family of Jewellers, although only 4 years ago he became interested in this artistic expression, creating his own pieces, recently he was invited to be jury on a contest “Jewels of Brazil” in order to distinguish young artists .
He was distinguished several times in different areas of artistic expressions - Graphic Design, Painting, Jewellery, Ceramic, Scenography, and is represented in collections in Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Brazil and Australia.

Emotions, felt by women who for a reason or another take more space in Cosmos. Women who so often, would like to be dancers, but who have to dace alone in the dark, in silence, on their dreams……..
If they dare expressing their his ambitions, they are certainly motive of laugh and of even exclusion by society where the look is overlapping more and more to our existence, society of fat minds and skin souls.
